VIRU OFFERS FERRARI FOR HIS CHILDREN !!!!!

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag on Thursday revealed that he would gift a Ferrari car to his sons if they manage to score more than 319 runs across formats in cricket.

Sehwag was felicitated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday on the sidelines of the fourth and final Test between India and South Africa at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. Sehwag had retired from international cricket in October this year with immediate effect, after playing 104 Tests, 251 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 19 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) for India.

Sehwag had made his international debut in November 2001, against South Africa at Bloemfontein.

Sehwag was the first Indian batsman to score triple centuries in Test cricket. He smashed the first-ever triple ton by an Indian on their tour of Pakistan in 2003-04, when he scored 309 at Multan.



Sehwag was in his elements once again when he slaughtered South Africa at Chennai in March 2008, cracking the fastest-ever triple century in Test cricket in terms of balls faced (278).

 

 

Sehwag narrowly missed out on his third triple century when he fell to Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan for 293 off just 254 balls, studded with a breath-taking 40 boundaries and seven sixes, in December 2009.

The former right-handed batsman has two children — both boys — with wife Aarti. On Thursday, when  cricket expert and commentator Harsha Bhogle asked Sehwag about his children and their interest in cricket, Sehwag said, “I will gift a Ferrari to my children if they score more than 319 in any format.”
